Reminder: Parent-Teacher Conferences for 1st semester are on Thursday, November 3rd from 3:00-6:30 pm, and Friday, November 4th from 3:00-5:30 pm. The high school will be hosting in-person conferences on both nights. You do not need an appointment and can just come at your convenience. We look forward to meeting with all our parents and students to talk about all the great things our students are doing this year!

This is just a reminder that tonight is our FAFSA and Financial Aid Parent Night.
It will be held from 6:00-7:30 pm in our high school library. The entrance to the library is located in the back of the high school. Time will feature a presentation by Alexis Simmons from DACC and FAFSA help from Jackson Essela of ISAC (Illinois Student Assistance Commission) and our HS Counselor Luke Lawson. #CornjerkerPride


Volleyball Regionals begin tomorrow (Monday October 24th) as the Hoopeston Area Lady Cornjerkers face Oakwood in the first round of 2A regionals. The game will be played at 6:00pm in Bismarck. Come out and cheer the team on to victory! #CornjerkerPride

Students enrolled in our AP Government & Politics course attended the Youth Advisory Council hosted by State Senator Jason Barickman. Students learned about the legislative process, lobbying efforts, and political discourse from speakers and through roleplaying activities.

Congratulations to the HAHS Lady Cornjerker volleyball team! Today the team swept the day by beating Bismarck, Georgetown, and Salt Fork to go 3-0 in the first day of the county volleyball tournament! The Lady Cornjerkers will play Westville Monday at 7:00 pm in the championship match. The game will be held in the middle school gym. Come out and cheer our team to victory!! #CornjerkerPride

IMPORTANT REMINDER:
HAHS Students and Parents:
All Freshmen students are required by Illinois State Law to have a completed IL Physical and Tetanus shot (TDAP). The deadline for completing this is Friday Oct. 14th. Any student not in compliance with either the IL Physical Form or Proof of a Doctor's appointment, will not be able to attend school beginning on Monday Oct. 17th. Any student not in compliance and shows up for school on that date, will be sent home and will not be allowed to participate in any extra-curricular activities until the forms are turned in.
All Senior students are required by IL State Law to have a 2nd dose of the Meningitis Vaccine, which can only be given after their 16th birthday. The deadline for completing this is Friday Oct. 14th.
