HAHS will be holding Prom on April 24th at the Hoopeston Civic Center. This year's prom will be for Hoopeston Area juniors and seniors only. No outside guests will be allowed and strict safety measures will be put in place. More details and information will be coming next week. #CornjerkerPride

High school softball is up and going and have new uniforms this year!
HAHS Students and Parents:
On Tuesday, April 13th we will be holding the SAT test at our school. This test is for all juniors. Also, this test is for any senior who did not take the SAT in the fall. As a result of the testing that will be occurring, only juniors and those seniors who need to take the SAT will be reporting to school on that date. All freshmen and sophomores will not be in attendance at school and instead will be working from home for a remote learning day. Any senior who already took the SAT in the fall will also be staying home and working remotely for a remote learning day. It is important that all students who are working remotely make sure to check their teacher’s Google Classrooms for any work they are needing to complete for the day. During the morning of the test, students who are not testing will not be allowed to come into the school as we try to maintain a quiet and secure testing environment. Students who need to come in for help will have the ability to sign up for appointments like they normally do and come in after 1:00 in the afternoon. #CornjerkerPride

This is a reminder to students and parents that tomorrow, Wednesday, March 24th, and Thursday, March 25th, we will be holding Parent-Teacher Conferences from 3:00-6:30 pm both nights. As we did the first semester, we are encouraging parents to set up virtual conferences with their student’s teachers. If you have not had a chance to schedule your virtual conferences with your student's teachers, there is still time to do so. If for whatever reason virtual conferences are not an option for you, we are allowing in-person conferences as well. If you choose in-person, please note that individuals must be wearing a mask while in the school and you will be temperature checked and screened at the door. #CornjerkerPride
