Maple parents, I can’t tell you how happy we are to see the beautiful faces of our kiddos!! They are doing a great job adjusting to our new “normal”. You should be proud of them!!! Many students are receiving mask master DoJo Points!! We are extremely proud of our staff and students!

Maple Grade School PTO, in conjunction with community members and local businesses, were able to provide Maple students with a large portion of their yearly school supplies. We are so very appreciative to all of these individual and businesses! This has taken a large financial strain off of our parents. THANK YOU!!! Just a reminder that Maple’s Meet and Greet for 1st Grade, 2nd grade and Miss Troxel’s class will be held tomorrow Monday, August 17th from 4-5. Kindergarten Meet the Teacher will be on Thursday, August 20th. Those will be scheduled by your child’s teacher.

Maple kindergarten students will need the following items turned into the Maple office by Wednesday, August 19th, in order to start school: birth certificate, shot record, current physical (or proof of upcoming appointment) and an Illinois eye exam (or proof of upcoming appointment). These documents are required by the State of Illinois to start school. Please call the Maple office at 217-283-6665 if you have any questions. The office is open from 7:30-4:00 daily. Thank you

Maple Grade School Parents Your teacher assignment is now ready. Thank you for being patient as we worked to make adjustments. You can sign into INOW via the password that was mailed to you this week. Go to www.hoopeston.k12.il.us and scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Information Now" under QuickLinks. If you did not receive one or are a new student, please call the office at 217-283-6665 to find out your child's teacher assignment. 1st and 2nd Grade Drive Up Meet the Teacher Night will be held Monday, August 17th from 4:00-5:00. Bring your supplies, drive up near your child's class (signs will be posted) and your teacher will greet you and collect your supplies! Kindergarten Meet the Teacher Day will be held August 20th. Your child's teacher will contact you to set up a time to come in. Maple Grade School is looking forward to seeing you all! We are looking forward to a great year! See you soon!!

Parents of Maple Kindergarten Students If you preregistered your student for Kindergarten in the spring, please complete the "returning student" registration form for registration. Please call the Maple office if you have any questions. 217-283-6665

Maple Online Registration: Just a reminder that Hoopeston Area Online registration starts today and runs through Wednesday. You may register from your computers at home. If you do not have a tablet, computer, internet, etc., you can come to Maple and use a kiosk to register. Anyone needing to drop off required documents can do so as well. If you need a school waiver form, we have those in the office as well.
