Students in my Introduction to Agriculture class got the opportunity to interact with 2 FFA section officers and the Illinois FFA state secretary. They learned about core values, goals, and how to work together in a group! Thank you section 18 for the visit!




The students in food science are spending their time working on a farm to fork project. Students got to choose their favorite thing to eat on thanksgiving to research how it gets from the farm to our fork on thanksgiving day!

Students in Introduction to Agriculture class have spent the last 3 weeks learning about parliamentary procedure. Their assessment was to amend and discuss items in Chex mix to be able to create their own! Today they get to enjoy their creation and be rewarded for all their hard work!

Unfortunately due to the COVID pandemic, Hoopeston Area High School will not be able to hold our normal community Veterans Day event on Thursday, November 11th. Instead, we have created the following video presentation for this year. This presentation will be viewed by students throughout the district to celebrate this special day. The video presentation is also available to our community on our district main page and will be running continuously on Veterans Day on cable channel 16.
