Hoopeston Area Student Awarded with Academic Honors from College Board National Recognition Programs Otto Smith earned academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Programs. Congratulations to our own Otto Smith, who is one of 62,000 students from across the country to earn academic honors from the College Board’s National Recognition Programs! These National Recognition Programs grant underrepresented students with academic honors that can be included on college and scholarship applications and connect students with universities across the country, helping them stand out during the admissions process. Colleges and scholarship programs use these honors to identify students from underrepresented groups through College Board’s Student Search Service. We’re thrilled that one of our students has earned this recognition. We are very proud of him for his achievements in his classrooms and on College Board assessments.

Attention HAHS Students and Parents: The PowerSchool student/parent portal is now open. It can be accessed by using the link on the district webpage. It can be found in the black box directly under the pictures scrolling at the top. Please note, that several of the student schedules transferred over incorrectly from the switch from InfoNow to PowerSchool. We are aware of the situation and will be working to get those fixed and updated today and tomorrow. Please refrain from calling the high school office about schedules until Wednesday.
