Mrs. Gress and Mrs. Gaddis enjoyed a breakout about the Revolutionary War with two of the 5th grade classes last Friday. The other two classes will get to attempt it in a few weeks!



Fourth graders in Miss Harts reading class did a text structures breakout today! After classifying non-fiction passages, students solved puzzles to find the codes to breakout! #cornjerkerpride #johngreer




Mrs. Robinson sent 4th graders on a search around the room to find parts of speech. Grammar is more fun when you can lay on the floor to identify parts of speech!!

After constructing their own bridges, 4th grade has been exploring different bridges from around the world through our virtual reality viewers! They get to identify different aspects that make these real bridges strong. #cornjerkerpride #johngreer




Today, 5th graders dissected Lima beans to study the different parts of the bean. Then we performed an experiment in which each group left out 1 of the 4 needs of a plant. We will check next week to see how the missing element affects our seed’s growth.
