3rd Grade students learned from the Traveling Naturalist today.
5th grade is learning about living things in Science. We are doing a virtual lab today to see what type of soil, type of sunlight, and how much water will grow the most tomato plants.
Fourth Grade is virtually visiting with staff from the Tennessee Elephant Sanctuary learning about different elephants and their adaptations!

A snowy John Greer good afternoon to all!
Cadet Band and Student Leadership Club are being canceled this afternoon due to the weather. Unless we hear from you, students will be sent home on the mode of transportation they would use if this was a day there was no Cadet Band or Student Leadership Club.
Come out to John Greer December 10th to support the Cadet Band in their first concert!
Fourth grade classes are learning about Ag In The Classroom. For our October lesson, we're learning about pumpkins!
Mrs. Aileys fourth grade class has been learning about natural resources in social studies. We made mini posters to explain ways to be sustainable with things like fossil fuels, timber, and water!
5th grade classes are practicing reading and writing decimal numbers by playing a game.
Miss Hart and Mrs. Runge's 4th grade class reviewed spelling with glow activities. They enjoyed glow ring toss, glow tic tac toe, glow spelling and glow reading.
Mrs. Gillins's third graders are learning about balanced and unbalanced forces by making lego robots that pull sleds.
Mrs. Anderson's fifth graders are practicing long division by playing a game where we create our own problems and solve them.
Fifth graders are working together to research Native American Regions of North America in Social Studies this week.
