It is that time of year again, High School Vermilion County sports action!
This year the girls' and boys' basketball, cheerleading, and wrestling competitions will be hosted at DACC.
Wrestling takes place on Thursday, January 9th with the doors opening at 2:30 pm
Basketball begins on Friday, January 17th with the doors opening at 4:30 pm
Cheer competition is slated for Saturday, January 18th with doors opening at 9:00 am

Our HS wrestlers earned 13th place in the Silver Bracket this weekend at Abe's Ramble. Way to go Cornjerkers!

FFA presented to the Board tonight about the test plot results as well as all of the activities they have participated in this semester. Good work FFA!

The HS Chorus did a great job at cookies and carols today. They certainly got us all in the Christmas spirit!






The HS band performed this morning at Wreathes Across America at the cemetery. Despite the cold, they sounded great and honored our fallen service men & women.

The HS & MS had their Jazz Band concert tonight and Hoopeston Area is excited to have this group back! Both levels sounded great and we can't wait to hear more! Nice job by the Music Department in helping the kids to prepare!
