Hoopeston HS Chorus has entered into a competition to be able to sing with the 80's rock band Foreigner when they perform at the State Farm Center. Foreigner is in the middle of a Historic Farewell Tour and is looking for a local Central Illinois high school choir to sing with the band on their classic hit, I Want to Know What Love Is, onstage with the band the night of Sunday, October 22nd. In addition to the experience of a lifetime for the winning choir members, Foreigner will donate $500 to the choir for appearing.
Please help the Hoopeston Area High School choir win by following the link below. You have to vote via Facebook, so you can't do it on school computers. The choir with the most votes wins, so vote daily!

HAHS Students and Parents,
Hello. This is John Klaber, principal at Hoopeston Area High School.
I wanted to inform you that today our high school, in conjunction with Hoopeston Area Middle School and the Vermilion County and Hoopeston Police Departments, held a successful ALICE Drill at 10:15 this morning. The purpose of this drill was to practice what to do in the event of an emergency situation that would warrant a school evacuation.
The purpose of all our drills is to prepare students and staff for a variety of situations that could occur. As always, our first goal is the safety of your children.
Thank you for your continued support, and have a great evening!
Congratulations to Owen Root for being named WCIA's Athlete of the Week! Way to go Owen! #CornjerkerPride
