IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
Due to concerns about possible severe weather this evening, tonight's musical has been postponed to make sure all of our performers and guests are safe. As a result, we will now be holding two performances of "Bye Bye Birdie" tomorrow, Saturday, April 1st. We will have a matinee at 2:00 pm, followed by the regularly scheduled performance at 7:00 pm. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! #CornjekerPride
HAHS Students and Parents:
As a reminder, April 3-6 will be the Week of Giving at the high school and middle school. We are asking students and staff to bring in unexpired nonperishable food items to help restock the Cornjerker Pantry. Each day you bring in three items during the week of April 3-6, students will be able to wear pajamas for that day. Each day staff members bring in 3 food items that week will be able to wear jeans during that day. Some ideas are cans of fruit or soup, boxes of mac-n-cheese, spaghetti noodles, etc.

Tonight is the first performance of the Hoopeston Area High School musical Bye Bye Birdie! The musical will be held tonight, Friday, March 31st, and Saturday, April 1st, at 7:00 pm in the high school auditorium. Come out and support our amazing cast! #CornjerkerPride

HAHS Students and Parents:
Reminder! Parent-Teacher Conferences for 2nd semester are on Wednesday, March 22nd, from 3:00-6:30 pm, and Thursday, March 23rd, from 3:00-6:30 pm. The high school will be hosting in-person conferences on both nights.
We look forward to meeting with all our parents and students to discuss all the great things our students are doing this year!
During conferences, we will also have tables set up for parents to complete the 5Essentials survey for the high school and be entered for a chance to win gift cards.
Tonight was the Vermilion County Music Festival. Thank you to all the students and our two guest conductors! Both the chorus and the band sounded amazing!

Mrs. Tonya Hill from DACC came today speak with all of our senior about DACC scholarships and the DACC Foundation. If your student hasn't done so yet, please make sure they are completing the DACC Foundation scholarship application. One application applies students for over 600 DACC scholarships! Over the last two years, every student who applied received at least one DACC scholarship, while many received at least 3! #CornjerkerPride

Congratulations to Sean Hudson on being awarded 3rd place All-County team at the County Scholastic Bowl tournament today in Armstrong.

The HS/MS Concert scheduled for this evening has been canceled due to inclement weather and poor road conditions. The concert will now be held this coming Tuesday, March 7th at 7:00 pm in the MS gym. #CornjerkerPRide

HAHS Student Council hosted a blood drive today and we were able to collect over 35 pints of life-saving blood thanks to our student and community donors! #CornjerkerPride
