Tonight is also Hall of Fame Night, with the induction of the Hall of Fame Class of 2024 being inducted around 7:15 pm between the JV and varsity games. Today HAHS Seniors got to hear from Gina Davis from DACC and the DACC Foundation about DACC scholarship opportunities for next year. Last year the DACC Foundation gave over a million dollars to students! Also every student who applied received a scholarship! By filling out the one DACC Foundation scholarship application, students are eligible for hundreds of DACC scholarships! The application for the DACC Foundation is open now and runs through May 1st. The HS hosted 8th graders and their families for a scheduling fair. Students had a chance to talk with teachers and ask questions about HS classes. It was a great turnout and the HS is looking forward to the incoming 9th grade class next year!#CornjerkerPride

This is just a reminder that the High School will be holding a Scheduling Fair for all incoming freshmen tomorrow, January 24th from 6:00-7:00 pm in the HS cafeteria. The purpose of this fair is to allow incoming freshmen to meet with teachers and staff and learn about all the different offerings at Hoopeston Area High School. Each department will have a table set up with information for parents and students about what classes they teach and will be available to answer questions. Extracurricular and club coaches and sponsors will also be in attendance to share information about their programs. This night's purpose is to give parents and students an opportunity to get a better idea of course offerings for when students begin signing up for classes in the spring to get their schedules set for the next school year.
