Thank you to all of the community members and veterans who attended today's Veterans' Day ceremony. Every year at the ceremony we share a video tribute to our local citizens who have served in the military. If you would like to see a member added, please contact the HS office with the name, branch, years served, and picture of the veteran so that we can get them added. Thank you for your help to ensure all veterans are recognized!

Tonight is opening night for the HS play Get Smart. Come out and support our Cornjerkers tonight or catch them again tomorrow at 7pm. The first act is going great!





If you were unable to make it to last night's meeting about travel to NY/DC and Paris and London. Please contact Mrs. Hutzel or Mrs. Lambert by Wednesday, November 13th. Down payments for thetrips are due by the 14th or 15th of November., depending on which trip you are interested in.

On Monday, November 11th at 9 am, Hoopeston Area will be hosting its annual Community Veterans' Day celebration in the MS gym. This special assembly will feature speeches, music, and presentations that pay tribute to our veterans. It’s a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together in appreciation of their sacrifices. We look forward to seeing you there as we honor our heroes!

There has been a change in the meeting location for tonight's informational about travel to NYC/DC in 2025 and London & Paris in 2026. It will now be held in the HS Cafeteria at 5:30.



The HS Fall Play "Get Smart" is this Friday and Saturday at 7pm both nights in the auditorium. Be sure to come about and support our Cornjerker Thespians in their performance as they have been working hard to put on a great show!

Hoopeston Area High School is excited to partner with Westville High School to bring our HS students domestic and international travel opportunities! In the Spring of 2025 you can travel to NYC and DC and in the Spring of 2026, travel is open to London and Paris. If you are interested in learning more about both or either trip, please plan to attend an informational meeting in the HS Auditorium on Thursday, November 7th at 5:30. At the meeting we will discuss itineraries, payment information, and answer any other questions you may have. Current 8th graders are also invited to attend to be eligible for the 2026 trip to London and Paris.

Hoopeston Area cross country competed in the Tuscola regional today! We walked away with some great times and 1 sectional qualifier.
