John Greer Grade School

Friday, August 15, is the first day of school. We are looking forward to welcoming 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th Grade students to John Greer for the year.

Here are a few first day reminders:

1 The Penn Street door is our main entrance. Please drop off students on the side of the street closest to John Greer.

2 7:50 is a good time to plan for dropping off your child.

3 With the District’s new schedule, the tardy bell will ring at 8:10.

4 There will be plenty adults in all locations to assist students throughout their first day.

5 If you are dropping your child off in the morning and want your child to ride the bus home, please use ClassDojo to communicate with the teacher, which bus your child will be riding home.

Please remember that we have a 2:11 dismissal on Friday.

3^rd and 5^th grade students exit from the Penn St. door.

4^th Grade students exit from the Main Street door.

Dismissal on the first day of school is always a little chaotic so please be patient with us. We are looking forward to a great year and want to wish your child the very best.
