Hoopeston Area will begin SHIELD testing this Friday November 19 at the Middle School, High School and John Greer. Maple will begin SHIELD testing on December 2 as that is the next available testing day after the holidays. We have 400 individuals that have provided a signed consent form to participate in this COVID-19 testing program. Hoopeston Area Schools only offered the opt-in option for testing, meaning that If you have not provided a signed consent form to your child's school, your child will not be tested. Parents may decide to provide a consent form at anytime they would like their child to participate in SHIELDS COVID-19 testing. We appreciate your patience through the process of getting SHIELDS testing to Hoopeston Area Schools.
