This is School Superintendent Robert Richardson with information regarding the Solar Eclipse that will occur on the afternoon of Monday April 8. Hoopeston Area CUSD #11 will not be viewing the Solar Eclipse as an official learning unit of instruction, but understands that some families may want to view the solar eclipse with their children. If parents would like to pick their child(ren) up from school to view the solar eclipse, please send a note to notify the office of your child’s school of the time you would like to pick your child up, and the absence will be excused.
