Maple Remote Learning Plan

Beginning on March 31st, Maple Grade School will be transitioning to remote learning. This is in conjunction with the mandate issued by the Illinois State Board of Education. To assist parents and students in understanding remote learning, Maple staff and administration have put together a document to explain the process.

For the week of March 30th-April 3rd, students will complete their learning packets that were issued on March 23rd at the chromebook and report card distribution day. If your child did not pick up a learning packet, they may be picked up at all lunch distribution sites and in the Maple Outdoor Lending Library located on the north side of Maple.

Should this unprecedented closure be extended beyond April 7th, Maple teachers will provide remote learning opportunities both for students who have access to the Internet at home and those who do not via choice menus. Again, these will be available at lunch distribute sites, in the lending library and on the Maple website.

Please read through the attached document for further clarification on the remote learning process. If after reading through the document, you have further questions, please contact your child's teacher or the Maple office. Thank you for all you are doing to keep your children actively engaged in their learning.
