With the governor extending the mandated school shut down through April 7th, the district would like to make sure all of our students have the opportunity to not only have access to packet work supplied by grade level teams, but also to online learning. It is crucial to keep our students actively engaged in learning while we are experiencing this health crisis shut down.  Accelerated Reader will be able to be accessed. Students can also access their Google classrooms to practice things such as math facts, and ELA websites.

If any of our K-2 students do not have access to a tablet or computer at home, they will be able to checkout a chromebook from Maple Grade School on Monday, March 23rd from 3-6 pm. In order to maintain the ordered social distancing, each grade level will pick up at a different door at Maple. Kindergarten pick up will be located at the North door at the main entrance. First grade pick up will be at the East doors and 2nd grade pick up will be at the south doors. Runners will meet you outside the doors where you will complete a chromebook agreement. They will then retrieve your student’s chromebook, case and charger.

Additionally, we will also be handing out report cards and another learning packet for March 30th through April 7th during this time. Please proceed to the assigned door to pick up these materials as well.

Packets will also be available at lunch distribution sites from 11-12 beginning March 30th. Packets will also be placed in the Maple outside lending library beginning March 24th.

We understand this time is probably very confusing for our young students. Maple staff is doing the best we can to keep in contact with everyone via DoJo and social media.  Please be checking DoJo often for important announcements, teacher read stories and much more!

We wish you a happy spring break week and our hope is that you all remain healthy. We greatly miss our students and look forward to the time we can reunite with them!
