Maple Grade School in Hoopeston had a Canned Food Drive in December, and the staff and students appreciate the participation of everyone who brought in non-perishable food items and canned goods.  Teams were formed to fill the offices of Mrs. Suzi Root and Mrs. Kathy Vines with the donations that were given ultimately to the Grant Township Food Pantry.  According to the authorities in charge of the competition, the two groups of teams from the Maple classes in our building that were formed were in a TIE on the amount of canned good brought in to school.   On December 18 with Mrs. Root, assisted by Mrs. Kari Rayls, and Mrs. Vines, assisted by Mrs. Jill Bence, had a horse race to help with the decision of which group team won!

Mrs. Miller's Kindergarten Class

Mrs. Clemmons' Kindergarten Class

Mrs. Riggleman's First Grade Class
