HAMS Families,

Here are the assignments for the upcoming week of remote learning.  I hope you all are staying healthy!!

Week of:  5/11

Directions:  Complete each assignment listed below.  All materials will be posted on Google Classroom.  If you need to pick up hard copies of the materials, the building will be open on Monday from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, or by appointment (email Mrs. White- whiteml@hoopeston.k12.il.us).

6th Grade

ELA

  1. Review “All Alone in the Universe” (p. 615 - 624) and complete the Point of View worksheet.

For students with online access:  a) Check your grades on INow to make sure that what you have turned in thus far is correct. b) Email me to let me know you have checked your grades whether you find a problem or not.  c) Be on the lookout for emails from me regarding missing or incomplete work. 

For students without online access:  Use this time to catch up on any packets you have not yet completed and make sure they are turned in.

1). Current Events- CNN10 VIew on 5-11-20 and complete the write-up form. View a Television News Broadcast on 5-12-20 of your choice and complete the write-up form.

2). Discovery Education:

* Read and Highlight Concepts 10.3-Engage, Explore, and Evaluate Tabs

* CER Written Concept 10.3- Augustus Caesar-Father of Rome: Explore page 1 : Read/Highlight and Complete Questions on Google Classroom

* Concept 10.3 Quiz- Complete on Google Classroom/You may use your online textbook as resource to help you complete the quiz

* For students who do not have Internet Access paper copies will be available for pickup

3). All assignments for the week are listed below- these assignments count towards your quarter grade and require your completion and effort to help improve your academic standing.
