Governor Pritzker has extended the stay-at-home order, including school closure, through April 30, 2020. Hoopeston Area Schools will continue remote learning activities and sack lunch distributions through April 30.
Hoopeston Area CUSD #11 will continue to share information regarding the pandemic situation and the remote learning process. Hoopeston Area CUSD #11 will utilize Friday April 3, Thursday April 17 and Friday April 24 as remote learning planning days to allow our teachers time to adequately prepare materials for the following week. Our goal is to be able to distribute hard copy educational packets during the sack lunch distributions the Monday following each remote learning planning day.
We ask that if you need something regarding your child's education to please call or email their teacher or building administrator. We ask that you be patient with inquiries and concerns, as teachers are working hard to deliver quality instruction to our learners. Teachers will be primarily engaged in lesson preparation during the scheduled planning days. We ask that you limit your close-proximity interactions with school employees as we work together to slow the spread of COVID19. Thank You for your cooperation in this situation, and we will come through this situation together as a community, school and family.
