    Maple Grade School students contributed 856 canned and non-perishable goods to the food pantry during their food collection challenge from November 10-21, 2014.
    In 1st place - the second graders and their teachers contributed 344 pantry items – they will dress up as Turkeys on Wednesday, November 26, 2014.

    It's an Early Dismissal day at 2:05 p.m. on Wednesday!

    The Kindergarten and Developmental Kindergarten students and their teachers contributed 177 pantry items, and they will dress up as Indians on Wednesday, November 26, 2014.

Box Tops for Education Promotion  

Maple Grade School is gladly accepting BOX TOPS from anyone in the community or in the area who wants to send their box tops that they have collected from food and paper products.  Please send any BOX TOPS to Maple Grade School at 500 South 4th Street, Hoopeston, Illinois  60942, or anyone also can share them with any Maple student, and they will bring them to school. 

Coat Drive

Thanks to our generous community, our second annual coat drive was another success! Fifty percent more coats were donated than last year! Coats, jackets, fleece and hoodies are now available. Sizes range from 24 months to 2XL and will be given to students on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested parents may call or stop by the Middle School Office between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on days school is in session.Please ask for Amy Linares at 217-283-6664.
